I work to journey. Not to flee my life, however to develop it.

Travel offers me proportion. It jogs my memory that the world is greater than deadlines, larger than errands, larger than the noise that tries to crowd out readability. Every time I step into a brand new place — whether or not it’s Solomons Island, Dubrovnik, or a quiet nook of the Eastern Shore — I really feel myself reset.

Travel is the place I breathe in another way. Where I believe extra clearly. Where I keep in mind who I’m outdoors of obligation.
