A weekly be aware on intentional journey for girls who carry actual obligations

I work to journey. Not to flee my life, however to develop it.

Travel offers me proportion. It jogs my memory that the world is greater than deadlines, larger than errands, larger than the noise that tries to crowd out readability. Every time I step into a brand new place — whether or not it’s Solomons Island, Dubrovnik, or a quiet nook of the Eastern Shore — I really feel myself reset.

Travel is the place I breathe in another way. Where I believe extra clearly. Where I keep in mind who I’m outdoors of obligation.

And right here’s the reality many ladies carry quietly: We don’t journey for luxurious. We journey for capability.

Because whenever you’re answerable for work, household, group, and the emotional labor that comes with being a lady who holds every little thing collectively, you want locations that offer you again what life takes.

This week jogged my memory of that. The warmth, the tempo, the selections — all of it required self-discipline. But realizing I’ve journeys forward, itineraries deliberate, and new locations ready for me retains me grounded. It retains me intentional. It retains me regular.

So right here’s your mild Friday reminder:

✈️ Travel isn’t egocentric. It’s strategic.

It’s the way you keep complete. It’s the way you keep smart. It’s the way you keep proportionate.

Whether you’re planning an extended weekend, a fall journey, or just dreaming about your subsequent passport stamp, give your self permission to prioritize it. Women who carry actual obligations deserve relaxation, discovery, and pleasure simply as a lot as anybody else.

I work to journey. And I journey to remain aligned with the life I’m constructing.

Wishing you a weekend of readability, calm, and possibly somewhat journey planning.
