NEW COMMIT: One of the highest recruits in his class, Shareef Elaydi has introduced his verbal dedication to the University of Texas for Fall 2027. Elaydi of Santa Clara, Calif., is a National Age Group report holder.

Elaydi, who trains year-round with Santa Clara Swim Club, owns the boys’ 13-14 NAG report within the 200m IM with a time of two:03.73 set in March 2024. He raced the 200m fly on the 2025 World Aquatics Junior Championships.
