Jaylen Brown’s GoPro Discovered at Backside of Ocean by USA Swimmers Patrick Sammon, Michael Andrew

Team USA swimmers Patrick Sammon and Michael Andrew say they did not acknowledge Jaylen Brown when reviewing footage of the Philadelphia 76ers star on a GoPro they discovered on the ocean ground in Hawaii.

Sammon launched their seek for the misplaced digicam’s proprietor by sharing footage of Brown paddling on a surfboard and asking followers to assist determine him.

“As soon as we turned it on, we were like, ‘Oh, this guy looks super familiar,'” Sammon mentioned in an interview shared Friday by USA Swimming. “This guy is, like, seven feet tall, and there’s a mic boom over his head, so you could see he has a full-on camera crew. And we’re like, ‘Alright, we’ve got to figure out who this guy is.'”

The swimmers’ discovery rapidly went viral after Sammon posted the video of Brown in late August.

“Anyone know who this is? Tag him if you do,” Sammon wrote on the video. “Help me find him so I can give him his footage back + a free swim lesson lol.”

Sammon mentioned he acquired responses inside the first two minutes of posting asking him if he actually did not know the video featured Brown.

Should Brown take Sammon up on his supply of classes, it would not be his first time studying from knowledgeable. He said final October he had been not too long ago taught by former U.S. Olympic swimmer and Boston College swim coach Dara Torres.
