NAU Swimming and Diving Proclaims Packed 2026-27 Schedule

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (September 8, 2026) – The Northern Arizona girls’s swimming and diving crew has launched their 2026-27 schedule, head coach Andy Johns introduced this morning.

The Lumberjacks personal one Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) and 12 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) titles underneath its belt as they head into an 18-meet season with eyes on the NCAA Championship in March.

“Our schedule is set up with some challenging dual meets to help us prepare for what will be a very tough conference meet with the addition of new teams,” Johns stated. “Starting off at home in October will be nice, and then an important road trip to Colorado will be an opportunity to race another set of quality opponents away from Flagstaff. January is full of competition that will be a great lead-up to conference.”

The annual Pentathlon on Friday, Sept. 18 in Flagstaff will kick off the season for the ‘Jacks, main them into Blue vs. Gold two weeks afterward Friday, Oct. 2.

October will proceed in Flagstaff for the Lumberjacks as Johns and head diving coach Nikki Kelsey information their crew by match ups with Arizona State (Oct. 9), Washington State (Oct. 30), and Idaho (Oct. 31).

The ‘Jacks will then make their solution to Colorado the primary weekend of November to face off towards Northern Colorado (Nov. 6) and Colorado State (Nov. 7), earlier than attending the four-day Colorado Mesa Invite every week later (Nov. 18-21). Simultaneously, the Lumberjack Diving Invite shall be held in Flagstaff (Nov. 19-21).

The ‘Jacks then head again to St. George, Utah, for a two-day battle with the Trailblazers, finishing the home-and-home collection after dominating the match up final season (Jan. 22-23).

The diving crew will host its spring version of the Lumberjack Diving Invite from Jan. 28-30, whereas New Mexico joins the swimmers in Flagstaff on Jan. 30 for senior day.

This 12 months, the MPSF Championships will happen in twin websites. The diving crew will host the convention within the Wall Aquatic Center from Feb. 15-19, whereas the swimmers will look to defend their convention title in St. George, Utah from Feb. 17-20.
