Sacha Baron Cohen to Star in Tarantino’s Play The Popinjay Cavalier

Sacha Baron Cohen will star within the West End manufacturing of Quentin Tarantino‘s stage play, The Popinjay Cavalier, sources inform The Hollywood Reporter.

Baron Cohen is alleged to be taking part in the title character within the play, which is described as a “swashbuckling comedy.” The play is about to open at a yet-to-be named West End venue in spring 2027. This marks Baron Cohen’s stage debut. 

The play, produced by Sonia Friedman Productions and Sony Pictures Entertainment, additionally marks the stage debut for Tarantino, identified for movies reminiscent of Pulp Fiction, Inglourious Basterds and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
