TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk High School (THS) women’ swim group hosted a meet and competed in Colby earlier this month.

On Thursday, Sept. 3, the Lady Hatchet swimmers held their first house meet of the season.
Tomahawk outcomes are as follows:
The 200 medley relay of Kaylee Roberts, Aubrey Tollefson, Kortney Busterud and Sloane Eisenman took 4th place with a 2:24.06.
Kami Gabrich positioned 3rd within the 200 freestyle with a time of two:27.99.
Aubrey Tollefson completed in fifth place within the 200 IM with a time of two:56.12.
Kortney Busterud took fifth place within the 50 freestyle with a private report time of 32.34.
Sloane Eisenman positioned 6th within the 100 freestyle with a private report time of 1:14.09.
Kami Gabrich completed 3rd within the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:35.97.
The 200 freestyle Relay of Kaylle Roberts, Kortney Busterud, Sloane Eisenman, and Kami Gabrich took third place with a time of two:09.09.
Kaylee Roberts positioned 3rd within the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:17.14.
In the 100 breaststroke, Sloane Eisenman completed in sixth place with a private report time of 1:34.07, and Aubrey Tollefson took third place with a time of 1:25.63.
The 400 freestyle relay of Kaylee Roberts, Kami Gabrich, Kortney Busterud and Aubrey Tollefson took 2nd place with a time of 4:42.75.
“It was a great first regular season meet, and I’m excited to see the improvements and accomplishments these girls will continue to have throughout the season,” mentioned coach Megan Backes.
Colby
The Hatchets took half in a meet in Colby on Thursday, Sept. 10.

“This was a fun meet of trying events they don’t typically do, and they did a great job,” Backes acknowledged. “It’s been really exciting watching them continue to improve throughout the season so far.”
