Adam Vance Employed as Diving Coach

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware swimming & diving program has employed Adam Vance as the pinnacle diving coach, head coach Pablo Marmolejo introduced Monday. He assumes the function starting Monday, September 14, 2026.

Vance will be a part of the employees in Newark after serving as the pinnacle diving coach at Sacred Heart University for the previous eight seasons. He is a five-time reigning convention diving coach of the 12 months throughout the NEC and MAAC and has been named ECAC Women’s Winter Championship Diving Coach of the Meet honors in each 2019 and 2022. He has coached two totally different student-athletes to a number of convention diving championships.
 
He has coached 4 NCAA Zone A Diving Qualifiers and 13 of the 15 high scoring divers in Sacred Heart historical past have been tutored by him.
 
The Pennsylvania native has additionally served because the Associate Director of Diving, Whirlwind Diving on the New Canaan YMCA since 2013. He led the membership to 3 National Team Championships and has coached quite a few highschool all-Americans.

From 2011-2013, Vance coached quite a few divers to USA Diving Junior Nationals, East Nationals and AAU Nationals in 4 disciplines on the West Chester Diving Club in Pennsylvania.

 

Vance, a 2010 graduate of West Chester University with a B.S. in Exercise Science, was a member of the lads’s diving staff the place he was an All-American athlete on the one-meter and three-meter occasions. He additionally competed for La Salle University, changing into a Zone A qualifier and Atlantic 10 1m and 3m champion. Vance has over 15 years of teaching expertise and has coached athletes of all ranges from novice to nationwide stage divers.
