Le Moyne Elevates Abbey Poore To Swimming and Diving Head Coach

Le Moyne has elevated Abbey Poore to move coach of the lads’s and girls’s swimming and diving applications. She takes over the place beforehand held by Adam Zaczkowski who departed this system in July to grow to be the subsequent head coach at VMI.

Prior to her time at Le Moyne, Poore spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Division III Washington & Jefferson College. She notably helped the lads’s program to a 2nd place end on the 2025 PAC Championships, their highest end since 2015-2016. She started her teaching profession at Division III Carnegie Mellon.

She graduated from Drew University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Biology. She primarily competed within the distance freestyle occasions throughout her time as a student-athlete.

Le Moyne notably made the transition from Division II to Division I in 2023 and is now a full lively member beginning this fall.The Le Moyne males completed third out of 4 groups whereas the ladies have been seventh out of seven groups on the 2026 NEC Championships.
