At the conclusion of each season, the Naples Daily News assembles All-Area teams to honor the finest athletes in every sport. Coaches from local schools are provided with nomination forms and are requested to recommend and evaluate their athletes as well as those from competing teams. The collected data, alongside the Naples Daily News’ investigations, resulted in the formation of the All-Area teams.

FIRST TEAM

Lucas Casey

School: CSN

Year: Junior

Highlights: During regionals, Casey secured third place in the 50 free and triumphed in the 100 free event. At the Class 1A state competition, he finished ninth in the 100 free and played a part in CSN’s third-place result in the 400 free relay.

Nathan Edwards

School: Naples

Year: Junior

Nick Fabian
