HARRISBURG, PA: Driven by a rise exceeding 25% in iGaming income compared to the prior year, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has announced that the combined gaming revenue for 2024 has achieved an unprecedented high and for the first time surpassed the $6 billion threshold within a calendar year.
For 2024, the PGCB has reported a total combined revenue of $6,137,414,455, which marks a 7.73% increase over the 2023 combined revenue of $5,697,218,115.
This figure includes the consolidated revenue from slot machines, table games, sports betting, iGaming, video gaming terminals (VGTs), and fantasy competitions.
The resultant tax revenue, in addition to the annual operating fee from slot machine licenses*, amounted to $2,663,575,443 in 2024 derived from these forms of gaming. This signifies the highest revenue returned to the Commonwealth in a calendar year, surpassing the $2,454,273,306 collected in 2023.
