Beyond her private connection to the images, Francesca admires the sense of neighborhood fostered inside Latin by sports activities photographers. “Seeing photos from our games makes people feel more connected,” Francesca stated. “It gives students something they can share and talk about, and it also helps build excitement and support for our teams that aren’t always the center of the spotlight.”

Mr. Merritt attested to the notice that sports activities images brings to athletics. “While photography may not draw more people to a game, more people are seeing it within the community in Latin,” he stated.

For Mr. Merritt, the rise of sports activities images amongst excessive schoolers is straightforward: It’s a straightforward entry level for younger creators who already love sports activities and need to keep near the motion.
