4 Males’s Swimmers Earn Qualifying Cuts at Last Chance Meet

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Five swimmers from the No. 10-ranked University of Michigan males’s swimming and diving workforce hit the pool Saturday (March 7) for one ultimate alternative to earn NCAA qualification on the Last Chance Meet at Canham Natatorium.

First up, Ryan Healy competed within the 400-yard IM and clocked a qualifying time of three:43.76 as he seems to safe a spot on the NCAA Championships.

Jaeddan Gamilla and Ozan Kalafat raced within the 100-yard breaststroke. Gamilla received his warmth in 52.34, whereas Kalafat touched in 52.67. Gamilla’s time met the NCAA qualifying customary, and he returned for a second swim, bettering to 52.11.

Inbar Danziger competed within the 200-yard backstroke and posted a time of 1:41.30, simply 5 one-hundredths of a second off his private greatest and underneath the NCAA qualifying lower.
