Big Ten Releases Michigan’s Conference Assignments for 2026-27

ROSEMONT, Ill. — In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, the University of Michigan girls’s basketball program introduced Monday (June 8) the house and away designations for the upcoming 2026-27 convention season. The convention season will once more encompass 18 video games.

Each workforce will play 16 single-game opponents (eight house/eight away) and one house and away opponent. Michigan will face Michigan State in its one home-and-home sequence.

U-M’s house opponents are Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Washington and Oregon. Michigan will face Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, Wisconsin, UCLA and USC on the highway.

Michigan returns its top-five scorers from final season’s Elite Eight workforce in Olivia Olson (18.9 ppg), Syla Swords (14.6 ppg), Mila Holloway (12.3 ppg), Te’Yala Delfosse (8.7 ppg) and Ashley Sofilkanich (7.7 ppg).

The Wolverines will host UConn in a marquee non-conference sport at Crisler on Nov. 5.
