Photography Assistants – Maryland Athletics

Responsibilities: Among the duties, these positions shall be charged with the next: 

 

• Photographic storyteller
• Photograph sport motion for all groups
• Photograph and help with studio/portrait photoshoots (together with setup/takedown)
• Photograph recruiting photoshoots 
• Edit and add images to numerous platforms for distribution 
• Build on-line picture galleries
• Assist with social media
• Apply applicable metadata and archive images
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelor’s diploma required in pictures, photojournalism, communications or associated discipline. Candidates should have excellent photographic expertise and interpersonal expertise in addition to data of social media and digital platforms. Must be capable of work versatile hours, together with evenings and weekends and out there to journey.  

Compensation: These are contract positions which are paid at an hourly price of $18 for 40 hours per week with the potential to earn extra time pay. Position begins as early as July 1, 2026 and runs via June 30, 2027. This place doesn’t embrace advantages. Total compensation potential ranges from $37,000-42,000.
