The OnePlus 13R is anticipated to launch in India and select global markets on January 7, alongside the OnePlus 13. This device is believed to be a rebranded variant of the OnePlus Ace 5, which was introduced in China on December 26, together with its Pro model.

While OnePlus has already verified numerous essential features and exhibited the phone’s aesthetics and color choices, new leaks have now disclosed detailed illustrations of the device prior to its official release.

The OnePlus 13R is projected to be available in two eye-catching color options: Astral Trail and Nebula Noir. Promotional visuals emphasize the smartphone’s elegant design, featuring a notable circular camera module located in the upper-left corner of the rear panel. This module accommodates three camera sensors and an LED flash. The recent illustrations, shared by X user Arsène Lupin (@MysteryLupin), provide an even more detailed view of the device, highlighting its refined aesthetics.

The front side of the OnePlus 13R showcases a display with slender, consistent bezels and a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout for the front camera. On the right edge, the device is equipped with a power button and volume controls, while the signature alert slider is located on the left side. The upper edge houses an IR sensor, and the lower edge features a USB Type-C port, a SIM tray, a speaker grill, and a microphone, finalizing its functional yet stylish configuration.

OnePlus 13R: Specifications (Expected)

The OnePlus 13R is confirmed to include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, providing strong performance and improved features. It will be equipped with AI-driven functionalities for photo editing and note-taking, appealing to users in need of smart, efficient tools. Fueled by a robust 6,000mAh battery, the smartphone will be sold in India via Amazon.

Expected to share similarities with the OnePlus Ace 5, the OnePlus 13R may feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display, offering up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Its camera configuration is rumored to consist of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the device is likely to include a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The OnePlus Ace 5, which forms the basis for the 13R, is equipped with a 6,400mAh battery offering 80W wired fast charging and an IP65 certification for dust and water resistance. Security is provided through an in-display fingerprint scanner, a feature expected to be included in the OnePlus 13R.
