WOMEN’S SOCCER TO TRAVEL ACROSS TOWN AGAINST BUTLER

INDIANAPOLIS- The IU Indianapolis Women’s soccer workforce will head throughout city for his or her seventh sport of the season towards the Butler Bulldogs on Thursday (Sept. eleventh) on the Sellick Bowl. 

Last week, the Jaguars took on Illinois State and got here up quick in a 2-0 loss. The Jaguars have been out shot 17-5, and in nook kicks, Illinois State had the benefit 8-1. Graduate scholar Hannah Roberson led the workforce with two pictures and one shot on objective. Freshman Gianna Kincaid and Shannon Phillips every had one shot and shot on objective, and sophomore Keilah Muldrow had one shot as nicely. And within the web, senior Arissa North had 5 saves. 

Redshirt freshman Olivia Hopper and Roberson lead the workforce in factors with three every, they usually each have one objective and one help every. Graduate Student Emma Antoine, Junior Avery Bangert, and Muldrow every have two factors with one objective every.

SCOUTING BUTLER UNIVERSITY

The Bulldogs are presently 2-1-2 on the season, with one shutout win over Central Michigan 2-0, and 5-1 win over Illinois State. Talia Sommer leads the workforce in assists and targets with three apiece and leads the workforce in factors with 9. Leila Lister is second on the workforce in factors with seven with two targets and three assists, and Norah Jacomen is third with two targets and two assists with six factors. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

IU Indy is 3-16-1 all-time towards the Butler Bulldogs. The final match was held final 12 months, with Butler taking the win 3-1, with a late tally by Caroline Kelley assisted by Emma Frey.
