LOWELL, Mass. – Guided by a duo of performances exceeding 20 points, UMass Lowell separated in the second half to conquer the Boston University men’s basketball squad, 83-71, on Saturday afternoon at the Costello Athletic Center.

With their fifth consecutive victory, the River Hawks (10-4) prolonged their current home winning streak to 14 matches, as the Terriers fell to 5-7 for the season.
