Westfield Girls and Noblesville Boys Shine Bright at Competitive Dual Meets!

The Westfield and Noblesville swimming squads divided two dual meets last Saturday at the Millers’ aquatic center.

The Shamrocks triumphed in the girls’ meet with a score of 100-85, winning seven out of the 12 competitions. Evie Wheat achieved victories in both the individual medley and butterfly events, while Kiarra Thomas also secured two wins: in the 50 freestyle and backstroke. Laney McCulloch took first place in the 500 free, and Westfield claimed the medley and 400 free relays.

Noblesville’s victorious athletes included Haddie Vohs in the 200 free, Eryn McMahon in diving, Olivia Motz in the 100 free, Exley Tricker in breaststroke, and the 200 free relay team.

Noblesville prevailed in the boys’ meet 98-82. Both teams captured six events each. Joshua Naas from Noblesville secured first place in two races, the IM and 200 free, while Brayden Wright also achieved two victories in the 50 free and backstroke. Aiden Kless triumphed in diving, and the Millers won the medley relay.

Zach Welch claimed two events for Westfield, the 200 and 500 freestyles. Garreth Thomas came first in the butterfly, Griffin Barents Froman won the breaststroke, and the Shamrocks took the 200 and 400 free relays.
