BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. (WBNG) — Across the Southern Tier, communities are celebrating America’s 250th birthday with parades, fireworks and many family-friendly enjoyable!

Wednesday, July 1

Fireworks at Hickories Park, Owego

Tioga Arts Council is internet hosting its annual Concerts within the Park sequence, beginning July 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Following music by Kirby Band, the park will host a free fireworks present at 9:30 p.m.

Friday, July 3

Binghamton Rumble Ponies America’s 250th Birthday Celebration: Join the Binghamton Rumble Ponies for family-friendly enjoyable with mascots, between-inning leisure, concessions, and extra!

Mirabito Stadium, 211 Henry St., 7 p.m.

Candor America 250th celebration

10 a.m. – Candor Yacht Club Fireman’s Cardboard Boat Regatta

6:30 p.m. – Kiddie Parade on the Ambulance Garage to the Softball Field

7:30 – Live music on the baseball discipline

Dusk – Fireworks celebration and American Legion and Candor Fire Dept. Color Guard Flag Ceremony

Saturday July 4

10 a.m. – Parade from Church St. to the Village Ball Field
