Eight members of the UCLA track & field program were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District teams, it was announced on Tuesday morning by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The Bruins’ eight honorees included Madison Fleming, Olivia Foody, Sydney Johnson, Annika Salz, and Taylor Snaer on the women’s side and Hamdi Ali, Joshua Chu, and Jeremy Zammit on the men’s side.

Johnson repeated as an Academic All-District honoree after a standout 2025 campaign, while the other seven Bruins picked up the award for the first time in their careers.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

A distinguished group of student-athletes will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 14 (men) and July 15 (women).
