Marschner arrives at Tulane after spending the earlier 16 seasons as the pinnacle diving coach at Utah. A former diver at Louisville from 2000-04, Marschner was a four-time Conference USA runner-up and certified for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships in 2003 and 2004. He earned levels in political science and justice administration from Louisville in 2005.

Marschner and his spouse, May, a New Orleans native and graduate of St. Martin’s Episcopal School, have three kids: Adelaide, Cullen and Malcolm.
