Sara J Cary to Exhibit Illustrations & Images on the Northeast Harbor Library in July

NORTHEAST HARBOR—July brings an exhibit of native artwork to the Mellon Room of the Northeast Harbor Library – Sara J Cary is exhibiting illustration and pictures work impressed by the natural world of Maine.

Science and nature drive Sara J Cary’s artistic course of. She researches her topics and interprets what she learns into illustrations and images which are each visually participating and informative. Her work emphasizes correct element and intentional composition. Currently, her favourite medium is acrylic ink.

Place-based inspiration is central to Sara’s follow. Based in Downeast Maine, she attracts each day inspiration from the coastal and inland landscapes that encompass her. She can usually be discovered knee-deep in tide swimming pools and meadows, observing and gathering reference for future work.

Through each bit, Sara goals to spark curiosity, deepen viewers’ connection to put, and assist them uncover one thing new concerning the pure surroundings simply outdoors their door.

There might be a closing reception for this exhibit on Friday, July twenty fourth, from 5-7 on the library. All are welcome.

This exhibit is offered to view within the Mellon Room in the course of the library’s working hours for the month of July.
