Our son, Risshan, is Autistic + ADHD.
Music is how he Communicates,
Connects and Calms himself
When the world will get too loud.

But discovering him the proper instructor?
Like discovering parking on Linking Road.
On a weekday.

Some academics have been phenomenal musicians.
But no clue about autism.

Some understood autism.
Couldn’t inform sargam from a sandwich.

Then we observed. Every instructor
who cracked the code:
One factor in widespread.
THEY MADE IT FUN!

Not “fun as reward for finishing the boring part”.
Fun because the precise technique.
Made him chuckle.
Celebrated tiny wins.
Turned errors into video games.
Made him WANNA come again subsequent wk.

A phrase within the neurodivergent neighborhood.
“IF THEY CAN’T LEARN THE WAY YOU TEACH,
TEACH THE WAY THEY LEARN.”

EVERY firm, faculty, supervisor ought to

2: GAMIFY BORING THINGS
Stop treating enjoyable as non-compulsory.
Fun isn’t dessert after veggies.
It’s the supply truck.
Kill the enjoyment, the lesson by no means arrives.
Time your self. Compete with yesterday.
Turn studying into ranges vs. lectures.

3. CHANGE THE TEACHER
If one thing bores you,
It isn’t the topic.
USUALLY the messenger.
Find a unique approach, new individual
BEFORE you say, “Not for me!”

Who’s that instructor, supervisor, mentor or mum or dad
you may always remember as a result of they
made studying really feel like play?

3 many years in promoting, movies & TV taught me:
The ones stayed related have been those who
