Democrat-Gazette employees earn Green Eyeshade Awards recognition | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette racked up two wins within the 2026 Green Eyeshade contest — one within the picture awards class and the opposite in editorial writing.

The newspaper additionally earned high three finishes within the sports activities picture class and two of its interns additionally earned second-place finishes within the scholar division.

Journalists from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia are eligible to enter the competition. Entries are judged by nameless skilled journalists.
