Swimming and Diving Awarded CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette’s males’s and ladies’s swimming and diving groups obtained Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America, it was introduced on Wednesday.

CSCAA acknowledges applications that obtain the very best requirements within the classroom whereas representing their establishment within the pool. In order to be eligible, groups should have a 3.0 or higher grade-point common (GPA) for the spring semester.

The Leopard girls got here in with a 3.57 GPA from 49 scholar/athletes and the lads posted a 3.33 from 29 members of the workforce.

“We are proud that both the men’s and women’s teams have achieved the College Swimming Coaches Athletic Association’s Scholar All America team awards for the spring 2026 semester. There were 13 women and three men with a perfect 4.00 GPA,” mentioned Lafayette head coach James Dailey.

“I am excited that we are providing a program which allows our student-athletes to excel academically by creating a new environment that allows them to balance education, individual growth and achieving their athletic potential,” Dailey continued. “We look forward to continuing the tradition into the fall semester.”
