Job Summary

Adjunct college could educate 1 to 2 programs per semester. The candidate will likely be able to instructing varied ranges of the undergraduate program, be proficient in conventional methods, and have a broad understanding of latest approaches to Photography. The interdisciplinary nature of this system requires that college preserve an lively skilled observe and meaningfully contribute to a wide range of areas. Adjunct college are accountable for successfully instructing college students within the assigned classroom or distant settings. Each adjunct college member is accountable for successfully implementing the mission of the Department of Design. Responsibilities could embody instructing in the course of the day or night, with the potential for on-line solely, in-person solely, or a mixture of each.

Essential Functions

• Teach required variety of credit score hours per quarter based mostly on their contract.
• Teach studio, lecture, and/or practicum programs per their contract.
• Plan and supply educational experiences that mirror an understanding of the philosophy, goals, and curriculum of this system.
• Evaluate pupil achievement of curricular goals/outcomes.
• Maintain communication with this system director relating to any course or pupil points.
• Perform different related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography.
• Minimum 5 years {of professional} expertise.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Capture One and Lightroom.
• Ability to show evenings and/or weekends as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of instructing expertise.
• Advanced Degree(s).
• Ability to show on-line/distant lessons.
• Ability to develop new coursework.
