Six Programs Secure CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors; Four Claim Individual Recognition

MADISON, Wis.–Six Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) swimming & diving applications have earned the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Award for the 2026 spring semester. In addition, 4 people acquired recognition.

 

Both the lads’s and girls’s swimming & diving groups from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse and UW-Whitewater claimed the glory. UW-Eau Claire’s males’s group posted a 3.40 grade level common, whereas UW-Whitewater had a 3.39 and UW-La Crosse a 3.32.

 

For the ladies, UW-La Crosse and UW-Whitewater every posted a 3.59 grade level common, whereas UW-Eau Claire had a 3.53.

 

Individually, UW-Eau Claire’s Emmett Botten, Jack Gunderson, Zhander Rowley and Derek Stadheim acquired Scholar All-America Second Team accolades.

 

The CSCAA Team Scholar All-America Award is introduced to varsity and college swimming & diving groups, who’ve achieved a group grade level common of three.00 or increased. The award is introduced twice yearly, as soon as within the fall semester and once more within the spring to acknowledge groups attaining a 3.00 within the semester.  

 

To qualify for Scholar All-America Second Team, student-athletes should have earned a 3.5 grade level common or increased and met an NIC “A” time commonplace in Division I or an NCAA “B” qualifying commonplace for the nationwide championship or certified for a diving zone qualification meet for Division II, Division III, and NAIA.
