Robert (Bob) Clarence Marlatt age 91 of Armington Illinois handed away peacefully on 7/16/2026.
Born on 1/31/1935 in Peoria Illinois Bob graduated from Manual high-school and went on to serve within the navy and attained the rank of sergeant. He then went on to work at Caterpillar for 30 years. Bob was recognized for his honesty, integrity, religion, love for others, teasing, nicknames, and sayings.
“I don’t have favorites, I pick on everybody”
Bob loved spending time together with his spouse, his children, grandkids, & nice grandkids. He loved making up nicknames for all he knew and cherished. Bob cherished the Lord and his favourite scripture was Psalm 29. He cherished cubs baseball and westerns. He cherished to spend time open air, he cherished animals, and he cherished caring for his property.
“Some days you can’t make a nickel”
Bob is preceded in demise by his dad and mom Robert D Marlatt and Dorothy (Beall) Marlatt.
His sister Dorothy June Pratt.
His spouse Ronda Kay (Dargel) Marlatt.
His son Robert Marlatt.
He is survived by his daughters Rebecca (Stan) Krontz, Regina (Kevin) Siscoe. Daughter in regulation Karen Marlatt.
Grandchildren: Julie Marlatt, Jason Marlatt, Jena (Ryan) Welker, Kate (Marlon) Rodriguez, Wes (Laura) Siscoe, Austin Siscoe, Kallie (Steven) Terranova, Isaac (Jen) Stroup, Tirzah (Zach) Miller
Great grandchildren: Camilla, Zion, and Maverick Rodriguez. Judah Siscoe. Danilo and Ruby Lee Terranova. Selah and Judah Stroup. Elizabeth and David Robert Miller.
The household needs to thank Triniti Miller, Sydney Connett, the workers on the loft nursing house, and the workers at OSF Richard L. Owen’s Hospice house, for his or her diligent care of Bob in his final months and moments.
A personal graveside service will likely be held for household.
