Josh Huger named Bucknell swimming and diving coach

LEWISBURG — Josh Huger, who most not too long ago served because the affiliate coach and recruiting coordinator at Cal Berkeley, has been tabbed as the subsequent head coach of the Bucknell males’s and ladies’s swimming and diving applications.

Huger joins the Bison workers with a wealth of expertise within the Division I realm, having beforehand served as an affiliate head coach at Tennessee and as an assistant coach at Virginia Tech, William & Mary, and Indiana (Pa.).

In three seasons at Cal Berkeley, Huger helped lead the Golden Bears to 2 males’s Atlantic Coast Conference titles and one ladies’s PAC-12 title. The males’s workforce was the nationwide runner-up on the 2024 and 2025 NCAA Men’s Championships, and the ladies’s workforce completed fourth on the 2026 NCAA Championships. Overall, Huger led Golden Bear swimmers to 4 NCAA data, seven American data, two world data, two U.S. Open Records, 23 college data and eight particular person NCAA titles. Since he started in July of 2023, Cal Berkely had 108 All-America performances.
