Kyle Haflich Joins Butler Swimming Program as Assistant Coach

Head Coach Maurice Stewart has introduced the hiring of Kyle Haflich as an assistant coach for the 2026-27 season.
 
“I am excited to have Kyle join the Butler swimming coaching staff for the 2026-27 season,” mentioned Stewart. “I am confident Kyle and I will work together as we have similar coaching philosophies and vision for success. Kyle will be a positive motivator for the team, and he will be a good on-deck coach that will yield fast swimming results. He will also be a strong recruiter for the team.”
 
“I am so excited to start my collegiate coaching career at Butler,” mentioned Haflich. “I have always wanted to coach collegiately and doing it in my hometown of Indianapolis and being back in the BIG EAST makes it extra special. I look forward to learning from Coach Stewart and being a great resource for the women on the team in hopes that we can keep climbing the ranks of the BIG EAST.”
 
Haflich involves Butler after serving because the Head Age Group Coach for the Warriors Swim Club in Whiteland. He additionally served as head coach of the Whiteland center faculty workforce and as an assistant coach for the varsity workforce.
