Lake Monsters clean Spinners in Vermont – Lowell Solar

With the first-place Vermont Lake Monsters internet hosting last-place Lowell Spinners in Burlington, Vt., on Sunday, issues went simply the way in which the standings would recommend.

Starter Caden Smith was the profitable pitcher. He allowed 5 hits and one earned run, whereas placing out 5, in six innings. Smith, who hails from Lowell, performs for Saint Anselm College.

Henry Hebert pitched the final two innings to earn his first save. Hebert struck out 4 and didn’t permit a success.

The Spinners play at Vermont on Tuesday (6:35 p.m.).
