(WIFR) – Several communities throughout the stateline will have fun Independence Day and America’s 250th birthday with fireworks, parades and festivals.
Below is a listing of occasions across the space. Please word, admission could apply in some instances.

- Edgerton Lions 3rd of July Celebration: Activities from 4 p.m. to midnight at Race Track Park on Stoughton Road in Edgerton, Wisconsin. Fireworks at nightfall.

- Byron Community 4th of July Fireworks Show: Gates to Byron Dragway open at 5 p.m. with fireworks at nightfall

- Durand 4th of July Festival: Activities Thursday night and all day Friday, parade at 4 p.m., fireworks at nightfall Friday at Durand Schools
- DeKalb 4th of July Celebration: DeKalb Municipal Band – Star Spangled Spectacular at 7:30 p.m., Fireworks at nightfall in Hopkins Park, 1403 Sycamore Road
- Kirkland 4th of July Festival: Event lasts July 2-4, parade at 11 a.m. July 4, fireworks at dusk July 4
- Mt. Morris Let Freedom Ring: Parade at 2 p.m., fireworks at nightfall
- Prophetstown Fourth of July: Fireworks at nightfall in Prophetstown State Park

- Loves Park Rhythm of the Heart Music Festival: All-day competition at 100 Heart Boulevard, fireworks round 10 p.m.
Saturday, August 8
- Cortland Summerfest: Event Aug. 7-8, fireworks at nightfall on Aug. 8 from Cortland Community Park
September 5-6
- Maple Park Fun Fest: Activities all day Sept. 5-6.; fireworks 8:30 p.m. Sept. 6.
