Carolina Swimming And Diving Locations 21 On CSCAA Scholar All-America Groups

Chapel Hill, N.C. – The University of North Carolina swimming and diving program positioned 21 Tar Heels on the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America groups. The girls’s group earned 12 spots on the squad, whereas the lads added 9 members to the group.
 
To qualify for first-team Scholar All-America, student-athletes will need to have earned a GPA of three.5 or greater and took part of their nationwide championship. Second-team choices, will need to have additionally earned a 3.5 GPA or greater and met an NIC “A” time normal in Division I or an NCAA “B” qualifying normal for the nationwide championship or certified for a diving zone qualification meet for Division II, Division III, and NAIA.
 
The girls’s program had eight first teamers and 4 second-team members out of its group. Samantha Armand, Taylor bloom, Michaela Chokureva, Aislin Farris, Mackenzie Headley, Emma Karam, Mary Macaulay and Lily Reader claimed first-team honors, whereas Maren Conze, Lanie Gutch, Ellie Joyce and Lily Sawyer landed on the second group.
 
The males’s group added six Tar Heels to the primary group and three to the second group. Academic All-American Louis Dramm led the best way for the lads on the primary group together with Nate Hohm, Martin Kartavi, Ciro Mejia, David Melnychuk and Colin Whelehan. Josh Parent, Xavier Ruiz and Julian Swiderski certified for second-team honors.
