ACC Rowing Championship on Deck for No. 8 Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – No. 8 Virginia competes on the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Rowing Championship on Friday and Saturday (May 15-16) on Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C.

Virginia is the No. 3 seed within the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four. The Cavaliers are the No. 5 seed within the Third Varsity Eight.

Last 12 months, the Cavaliers positioned second within the Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight, fourth within the Second Varsity Four, fifth within the Third Varsity Eight and seventh within the Varsity Four en path to their second consecutive runner-up end on the ACC Championship.

The 2026 ACC Rowing Championship begins Friday, May 15 at 8:05 a.m. with the Third Varsity Eight, adopted by the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four. There will probably be two heats of every occasion.

On Saturday, May 16, the Petite Final will probably be held previous to the Grand Final of every occasion with motion set to start at 8:05 a.m. The order of occasions consists of the Third Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Four, Varsity Four, Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Eight.

Seven ACC groups are ranked within the newest Pocock/CRCA Coaches Poll with No. 3 Stanford, No. 6 California, No. 8 Virginia, No. 10 Syracuse, No. 13 Duke, No. 14 Miami and No. 23 North Carolina.

ACC Network Extra protection is on the market for the prelims on Friday and the finals on Saturday. Fans are permitted to attend the championship and admission is free.
