What is the essence of a selfie? What binds topic to object, human to expertise? In her work 587 Blitze, Berlin-based photographer Bob Jones explores the photographic self-portrait by an intense, radically bodily course of.
For the mission, Jones developed pinhole cameras utilizing a 3D printer, intentionally creating her personal various to traditional image-making apparatuses. Altogether, ten studio flash items have been used, delivering a mixed output of roughly 9,600 watt-seconds.
