Lauren Sullivan Named Assistant Coach for Women’s Swimming

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown ladies’s swimming and diving has named Lauren Sullivan as an assistant coach, Mary Ann Lippitt Head Coaching Chair in Women’s Swimming and Diving Mitch Dalton introduced on Tuesday (May 19).

Sullivan joins the Bears having spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach on the University of Arizona, the place she additionally served because the assistant recruiting coordinator. During her two seasons with the Wildcats, Sullivan helped the groups earn second place finishes within the Big 12 Championships each seasons.

Last season at Arizona, Sullivan helped lead Wildcats to 18 top-ten tImes in program historical past and two college data, 12 particular person NCAA Qualifiers, 9 NCAA relay A cuts and was the first coach for 3 Big 12 champions. I always pay close attention to great assistants, and during NCAAs I found myself watching how she coached, communicated, and carried herself on deck. It became clear very quickly that she is the real deal.
