In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Marco Island Historical Society presents, “America the Beautiful” — a big format images exhibit by Everglades photographer Clyde Butcher.

The exhibit will likely be on show on the Marco Island Historical Museum now by July 11. The Marco Island Historical Museum is situated at 180 S. Heathwood Drive and is open from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m., Tuesday by Saturday. Admission is free and the positioning is totally ADA compliant and accessible to all guests.

2. SATURDAY: Foghat and Nazareth at Seminole Casino

Two ’70s rock bands carry out 8-9:30 p.m., Saturday, May 16, at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, 506 S. First St.

Foghat ― whose hits have included “Slow Ride” and “Fool for the City” ― performs with Nazareth, whose large hit was “Hair of the Dog” in 1975.
