About The Event
Join documentary/road photographer Stephen Marc for a free images workshop related to the exhibition If Emmett Till Lived: Freedom on American Ground opening September 10, 2026 on the Museum of Contemporary Photography.
Participants will create pictures impressed by the query: “What do you wish Emmett Till could have experienced?”
Using disposable cameras offered by MoCP, contributors will doc moments from their every day lives. Select pictures might be featured in a future exhibition alongside works by Chicago Public Schools college students in Winter 2027.
