Metropolis of Regina | Residential Spring Street Sweep Starts

The 2026 Spring Sweep is now coming into residential neighbourhoods. Street sweeping cleans up leaves and take away sand and particles from roads that accrued over the winter so it doesn’t find yourself in our sewer system.

Street sweeping will happen between 4 a.m. and 10 p.m., Monday to Friday. During this time, crews will clear greater than 1,000 kilometres of residential roads over about six weeks, relying on the climate. Bright orange indicators at foremost neighbourhood entrances will let residents know when sweeping is occurring of their space. 

When crews are working in a neighbourhood, residents are requested to maneuver their automobiles off the road so your complete street will be cleaned. Neighbours are inspired to share driveways on sweep days if potential.
