LEXINGTON, Kent.– Three Stanford pairs: threes pair sophomores Charlotta Bell and Logan Tusher, fours pair of sophomore Indigo Clarke and junior Clara Stowell, and fives pair of redshirt freshman Elena Fisher and junior Chloe Hoffman have earned AVCA Top Flight honors, the association announced Friday.
Now in its eighth year, the Top Flight program recognizes beach pairs who compete in at least 15 matches together at a specific flight and win at least 75% of their matches.
Stanford’s threes duo of Bell and Tusher has been on a tear all season long, currently holding the record for single-season wins for a pair at 31 in 2026. On court three, the pair has a 21-3 record, including wins over 15 pairs on ranked squads and 11 duos on top-10 teams.
Clarke and Stowell have amassed 27 wins as a duo this season, playing primarily at the fours court where the pair has a 15-3 record. Nine of those wins came over pairs from ranked opponents, while eight victories were over pairs from a top-10 ranked team.
Fisher and Hoffman have been a mainstay for the Cardinal on court five, playing as the five pairs in 34 of the Cardinal’s 40 duals in 2026. The duo holds a 27-7 record at the fives position, including 22 wins over pairs from top-20 ranked squads and 15 victories over opponents on a top-10 ranked team.
Stanford enters the 2026 NCAA Championship as the No. 1 seed and will take on No. 16 seed Chattanooga in the first round of the tournament today at 9 a.m. PT (11 a.m. CT) in Gulf Shores, Ala. The matchup between the Mocs and Cardinal will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
