Open Water Swim

Build confidence and enhance your open water abilities at Shelby Farms Park’s Open Water Swim Program, held in Hyde Lake. Designed for a spread of swimmers, from first-time triathletes to skilled endurance athletes, these classes present teaching and a secure, supportive setting to coach for races and triathlons.

Participants may have entry to a marked swim course with lifeguards, coaches, and security volunteers on kayaks. A swim cap is supplied; swimmers ought to convey goggles and a towel.

• 15 Sunday classes and 5 Saturday classes
