HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) – A photographer from jap Kentucky is utilizing a Golden Age Hollywood model to highlight Appalachian ladies in a brand new manner.

Malcolm J. Wilson says it didn’t begin as a challenge, only a response to viral movies he noticed of Appalachian ladies circulating on-line.

“Things from, you know, being toothless to being barefoot, and on and on and on and on and on,” Wilson mentioned. “I would look at them and say, ‘This is not the Appalachia I know. These are not the Appalachia women I know.’”
